I propose a policy that promotes data-driven monitoring of primary healthcare facilities across Oyo State. The policy should ensure regular publication of information on facility functionality, availability of essential medicines, healthcare personnel, maternal health services, and budget implementation.
This will enable citizens to monitor healthcare delivery, help lawmakers make evidence-based decisions, and strengthen accountability among relevant agencies. Community health workers and local communities should also be involved in identifying service gaps and reporting challenges.
A healthier Oyo State requires transparent governance, accessible information, and legislation that translates public resources into quality healthcare for every citizen.
