Ondo State can create a simple Local Service Tracker where residents can report problems in their communities: damaged roads, broken streetlights, blocked drainage, poor waste management, abandoned public facilities and other basic issues.

Reports should go live immediately after submission, with moderation taking place afterward to remove spam, duplicates or inappropriate content. Each report should show the location, date reported, the responsible agency and its current status.

Government agencies should then have a clear timeline to respond, while residents can see whether an issue is reported, acknowledged, being addressed or resolved.

A simple monthly dashboard can show how many issues were reported, how many were resolved and which agencies are performing.

The point is not to create another complicated government platform. It is to make government more responsive and give citizens a simple way to see a problem, report it, track it and know who is responsible for fixing it.

Ondo State can pilot this in a few local governments and expand it based on what works.
