Young people in Osun State need accessible, affordable and timely mental health support. I propose the development of a state-level Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Support Policy that strengthens mental health education, early identification, referral pathways and access to appropriate support, particularly within tertiary institutions and other youth-focused settings.
