AFUAPE AFOLABI MORUF

Hon. Afuape Afolabi Moruf, popularly called AFOO, was born on May 21, 1967, in Abeokuta, Ogun State. He comes from a prestigious family and received his early education in Abeokuta before advancing to Ogun State Polytechnic (now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic) and later earning a B.Sc. in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos. He holds two master's degrees in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Lagos. Hon. Afuape started as a lecturer and has been recognized for excellence in academia. He has served in various government roles, including as Ogun State Commissioner for Youth and Sports (2015–2018) and Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs (2019–2022). Currently, he represents Abeokuta South Federal Constituency in the Nigerian House of Representatives and is vice chairman of the House Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Hon. Afuape is a committed public servant and entrepreneur dedicated to the development of his constituency and Ogun State.
