Biography

Alhassan Kabiru Usman Rurum represents the Rano/Bunkure/Kibiya Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). He obtained a National Diploma in Administration Management from Obafemi Awolowo University and an Advanced Diploma from the Federal College of Education, Kano. Rurum began his political career in the Kano State House of Assembly, where he served as Speaker between 2015–2017 and 2018–2019. Elected to the National Assembly in 2019, he currently serves as Chairman, House Committee on the Air Force.
