Ekiti State Development and Investment promotion Agency (1st Amendment), 2023

This law amends the principal EKDIPA Law of 2019 to restructure the Agency’s Board, making the Governor the Chairman and a private sector professional the Vice‑Chairman. The Board also includes two Commissioners, three professional nominees (including at least one woman), and a Director‑General with business expertise. The Vice‑Chairman performs functions delegated by the Governor/Chairman. The Director‑General is responsible for daily operations, preparing strategic plans, monitoring progress, and providing technical input to the Board. The amendment aims to strengthen private sector involvement and create a more conducive environment for investment promotion in Ekiti State.
