Biography
Senator Akpan Ekong Sampson is a Nigerian politician representing Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District in the 10th Senate under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Born on 18 September 1967 in Mkpat Enin, Akwa Ibom State, he is a lawyer, author, and seasoned public servant.
Sampson began his political career as Chairman of Mkpat Enin Local Government Council, later serving as a Member of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly. He also held state executive roles, including Commissioner for Environment and Petroleum Resources, and Special Adviser to the Governor.
