Biography
Kawu Suleiman Abdurrahman (OFR) is the Senator representing Kano South in Nigeria’s 10th National Assembly. A graduate of Bayero University Kano and the National Open University of Nigeria, he holds a Ph.D. in Political Science. Kawu previously served three terms in the House of Representatives for Sumaila/Takai Constituency, where he was Deputy Minority Leader and later Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on National Assembly matters. He holds Nigeria’s national honor of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR).
