Biography
Mohammed Sani Musa, CON (born 11 May 1965) is a Nigerian politician serving as Senator for the Niger East Senatorial District under the All Progressives Congress (APC). He earned a B.Sc in Business Administration (Banking & Finance) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1990, and later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Policy & Management from the University of London and a Postgraduate Certificate in International Management from the University of Liverpool.
Musa was elected Senator in 2019 and re-elected in 2023. In the Senate, he chairs the Committee on Finance and serves on multiple other key committees including Appropriation, Banking & Finance, Petroleum Resources (Upstream), Water Resources and Constitutional Review. He was awarded the national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) in 2022.
