Biography
Hon. Aliyu Wakili Boya is a Nigerian lawyer and politician representing the Fufore/Song Federal Constituency of Adamawa State in the 10th National Assembly. Born on 8 June 1978 in Malabu, Fufore, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Maiduguri and was called to the Nigerian Bar after completing his legal training in Abuja.
Before his election in 2023 under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Boya served as the Executive Chairman of Fufore Local Government and as the Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in Adamawa State. He also worked as a Senior Legislative Aide to former Senator Bello Tukur.
In the 2023 elections, Boya secured the House seat with 46,943 votes, defeating the incumbent. He currently chairs the House Committee on Police Institutions.
