Biography
Hon. Zakaria Dauda Nyampa is a Nigerian lawmaker representing the Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency of Adamawa State in the 10th House of Representatives under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Born on 12 February 1973, he has served in the National Assembly since 2019, securing re-election in 2023.
Before his federal role, Nyampa was involved in state politics and grassroots community development. His legislative focus includes education, infrastructure, youth and women empowerment, improved security, and support for internally displaced persons in Northeast Nigeria.
Notably, he has sponsored bills to establish a Federal University of Solid Mineral Development in Michika, among other educational institutions. He has also led disaster relief efforts and distributed palliatives to thousands in his constituency.
In recognition of his service and leadership, he was conferred the traditional title Yilom Mbula by the Mbula Traditional Council.
