KWAMOTI BITROJS LAORI

Hon. Kwamoti Bitrus Laori is a Nigerian politician representing the Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency of Adamawa State in the 10th House of Representatives. Born on October 17, 1966, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) and has over three decades of legal practice in Nigeria. Laori began his political career in 2007, serving two consecutive terms in the Adamawa State House of Assembly. He held various leadership positions, including Chief Whip, Deputy Speaker, and Speaker. In 2015, he was elected to the House of Representatives and has been re-elected in 2019 and 2023. As a legislator, Laori chairs the House Committee on Public Petitions and has sponsored initiatives in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and youth empowerment. He is also the National President of the Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN)
