Biography
Hon. Aliyu Aminu Garu, born on September 30, 1962, represents Bauchi Federal Constituency in Nigeria’s 10th National Assembly. A member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), he was elected in 2023 and previously served as Bauchi Local Government Chairman. Garu has sponsored multiple bills and motions focused on his constituents’ welfare. In 2024, he launched empowerment programs distributing cash, fertilizer, and installed over 500 solar-powered streetlights to improve rural electrification and security. He champions children’s immunization, advocating for increased funding for healthcare initiatives.
