Biography
Hon. Auwalu Abdu Gwalabe, born on August 20, 1961, represents Katagum Federal Constituency in Bauchi State and is a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He previously served in the House of Representatives from 2007 to 2011 and returned for a second term in 2023. Gwalabe holds a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE). In his current term, he has sponsored a bill to upgrade the Federal Medical Centre Azare to a Teaching Hospital, aiming to improve healthcare services in his constituency. He has also raised concerns about the concurrent implementation of multiple national budgets, highlighting potential inefficiencies and constitutional challenges.
