Biography
Hon. Sani Ibrahim Tanko, born in 1986, represents Shira/Giade Federal Constituency in Bauchi State under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Nigeria’s 10th National Assembly. A first-term lawmaker elected in 2023, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree. Tanko has focused on education and welfare in his constituency. He paid over ₦30 million in NECO exam fees for more than 1,000 students from Shira and Giade LGAs.
